Let them eat cake!

December's 2nd birthday is here, and even as I type, Kristin is working away getting ready for her party. I took some pictures yesterday and today to show Kristin's amazing work on December's birthday cake...I could try to describe it, but i think you need to see it to believe it:

The creation process:

Kristin's hard work =

Here are some close ups:

Finally, the kitties are wrapped up to keep them safe for the big day:

I am sure Kristin will tell you how the party went. Just thought everyone should see these cakes. I have never seen anything like it! December loves kitties and loves cake, it should be fun.

Incredible job on the cake!! Maybe you can start a home-based business or something, Kristin. ;o) It's almost too pretty to eat. Don't cry when you cut into it, OK? :P

GREAT job on the cakes Kristin!! Now I am feeling even more embarrased about how badly my cake turned out (and that was just for our dog!!) EEKS! I will have to practice if I want Logan's birthday cake to turn out half as good as Decembers!!

Thanks for all of your kind comments about the cake...it was fun to make. It really wasn't all that difficult to make -- it was just time-consuming. I know you can do it, too, as long as you have the ingredients and have a few hours to work on it...that's all it took! :o)
