Last week, December helped me make cookies! She'd never done that before, and she really enjoyed herself. Here she's helping me grease the pan. She also dumped ingredients in the bowl and helped me stir.
She also tried to help me form the cookies, but ended up trying to eat the dough instead.

...and even washing dishes! She was a BIG help to me, and we had fun!

Your posts brought back memories of a couple months ago at Ruthy's house. Trudy and I baked yummy cookies together too, and how often haven't we helped Mommy clean up together after a mess over the years. There were times when more water ended up on Trudy than in the sink, I think ;o). Also, there's a picture that I had posted too of Clara in the sink when I was visiting in January, just like December's sink picture. Too cute! Anyway, your posts had a nostaligic twist for me. What a beautiful little girl the Lord has blessed you with :o).
