Crazy Times

I'm sorry that there aren't any pictures with this post! The camera is packed away in December's suitcase, and she's sleeping in her room, so I don't want to disturb her to get the pictures downloaded onto the computer. Camping last week was alot of fun! December loved it, and though it was difficult to keep such a constant eye on her outside, we all had a great time. December's aunties were very kind, and they watched December while I got out to float down the river and go golfing. What fun! I had never been golfing before, and I'm completely horrible at it. Brad, his brother, and his dad all hit the ball once in the distance it takes me to hit the ball four or five times. I had a great time, though! The rest of the visit was great. My friend Shannon organized a barbeque in the park with a bunch of our high school friends, so that was great fun, too.

We arrived home yesterday. December was awesome on the two flights -- she even napped on second flight and was asleep for almost the whole flight! It was wonderful. This morning we went and picked up the U-Haul. Our brother-in-law Craig and some friends from church are coming later today to help us start packing it, and the rest of my brothers and dad are coming tomorrow morning to help finish packing.

December had her 18-month checkup a few days before we left to visit Brad's family. While we were there, the doctor noticed something strange with December's right eye while he was examining it. He wants her to see an eye specialist about it. Her appointment is set for August 23. We were hoping to move before that, but now we will leave as soon as her appointment is finished on the 23rd. We hope she's okay!

So life is on the more stressful end right now...I'll keep updating December's blog when I get a chance to rest, though!
