A Triple Birthday Party

We went to a triple birthday party for December's friends Noah, Andrew, and Calvin. The day was Calvin's birthday, but both Noah and Andrew's birthdays are over the summer. Since Noah and Andrew's Daddies are both graduating in a couple of weeks, they will be gone when their birthdays actually occur, so a triple birthday party was planned! That way we can all celebrate together, before everyone goes their separate ways. It was fun!

I love how close in age the babies are, because they are all doing similar things at the same time -- so here are three of the babies (Isaac in the corner, with Abigail -- in the jeans -- and Clara in the blue dress) on the blankets, rolling around and playing with their baby toys.

I'm so glad this party was planned! We have fun when we get together. It was one of the last times we'll all be together, and that makes me really sad. This year, almost all of my friends will be leaving, except for a couple. We're all far from our families, so in a sense we become each other's families while we're here, helping each other out and spending time together.

They had a construction-themed cake, with the three boys' names around the edge. It was tasty!
