Here are Mom and December playing a new game. Mom taught December how to say, "YAY!!!" And every time December says it, Mom thows her into the air. She loves this game!

The fires are still raging around, but today has not been as windy. That should help the exhausted firefighters to get a handle on everything! We are still in our apartment, and soon Mom and I are going to go to Walmart. We're determined to do at least some normal things. There's not really any chance of us being evacuated anymore, which is good. They are letting some people back into their homes, as well. My hope is that things are dying down. Until then, we will stay almost entirely in the apartment, with a couple of quick jaunts out to Walmart, for sanity's sake. :)
