This post will show you all of the fun things we did in Calgary -- we really had such a great time while we were there. These next few pictures were taken on New Year's Eve when we went bowling at night. There were a ton of other people there, and we had to wait for bowling lanes to open up for us, so we tried to find ways to amuse ourselves. I'm in the middle with my two sister-in-laws on either side of me: Erin on the left and Kim on the right.

The boys doing crazy faces. Brad on the left, then Rebekah's (Brad's sister) boyfriend in the middle, and Matthew (Brad's brother) on the right.
They inspired us girls to do odd faces, too...me on the left, then Erin, then Rebekah

All of the Jones girls: me on the left, then Erin, Kim, Rebekah (the only true, natural-born Jones girl), and Tarena (who will be marrying Matthew in August)
After waiting a while, we finally got lanes! Here I am bowling with my super heavy 8-pound ball (the lightest one that I can still get my fingers in the holes)
Here's me, happy because I didn't get a gutter ball
Brad about to bowl a strike
Matt and Tarena. December is going to be their flower girl!! I'm really excited!
Brad and I, waiting for our turns to bowl.
Here we are playing a gift grab, where you can steal presents away from each other. Tons of fun! You are given cards, and if one of your cards is called, you get to take a present from someone else...as you can see in the picture below, Kim, Mike, and Brad were doing VERY well in this game!
December fell in love with Uncle Matthew during our trip. Whenever he was anywhere nearby, December wanted to run into his lap and have him hold her. Her word for Matthew was "Marsh." She'd ask, "Where'd Marsh go?" all the time. Here she is giving him a kiss.
Matthew was very kind and let December jump all over him and smother him with kisses. December had a blast with him!
Here we all are, watching the babies' favorite: Baby Einstein.
Here's a picture of December's Great-Grandma sitting with Matt. We love Grandma!
December and Uncle Matt again
Everyone is watching Brad's brother Michael play a computer game (at least, the boys are...it was highly difficult to get them to look up and smile for this picture)
Dad and Debbie, who were very kind and hospitable hosts for all of the Christmas parties and all kinds of action that went on in their home for two weeks straight!
December finding Tarena's sunglasses in her purse and trying them on

When we were visiting during the summer, Brad and I were taught how to play Texas Hold 'Em. It's a fun game to play with everyone!
December LOVES phones, especially cell phones! She is getting better at talking on them, too.

That picture of Jeff playing poker is so funny! He looks like he's been drinking or something- which he doesn't do! He says he should attach it to a Baptist resume! *lol*
And I'm happy you didn't get a gutter ball! :) That made me smile! Miss you guys!
Hi Brad, Kristin & December,
It is fun reading your blog. We are amazed at the change(growth) in December.
The weather temp here in Michigan is 9 deg. with snowing & blowing. We had a family gathering scheduled for tonight in Hudsonville but it is canceled.
Have you met Marilyn & Chet Faber? He owns/runs a "ranch" near Westminster for troubled youth.
Have a blessed week-end
