YAY! A picture of all three of us together! This is pretty rare because usually either Brad or I have to be behind the camera...so getting a family picture makes me happy!
December has fallen in love with the two cats that Grammie and Grandpa have. Their names are Ming (in the background) and Zo (in the front). Almost-Auntie Tarena (she and Brad's brother Matt are getting married in August) taught December the names of the cats, so they are called "Minh" and "Zhho."
The cats are getting increasingly more comfortable around December! She is really quite gentle with them, as you can see. The only thing the cats don't like about December is that sometimes she gets so excited to be with them that she squeals in a high-pitched voice -- that sends them running for cover.
December kissing Zo on the head. It is so cute to watch her with the cats. It makes me want to get one for her! She asks to go find them many times every day, just to pet them and attempt to feed them single kernels of cat food.
Another kiss for Zo. Cats are by far her most favorite animal!

I finally caught up on your blog. For the first little while after your arrival in Calgary, it wasn't updated, so I wondered if you would at all during your trip. Then in the midst of my travelling, I've been a little preoccupied. I LOVE the picture of the three of you! So wonderful to see you, Brad, and December in person today too! I'm praying for safe travels for you tomorrow and God's tender blessings as you say good-bye and settle back in to life in Cali. I know how that feels.
