Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from December! (and Brad & me, too!) Here is December standing by the Christmas tree on Christmas Day. She's wearing her Christmas outfit that I absolutely LOVE! It makes me sad that she won't be able to wear it very often, because it's my favorite outfit of hers...hopefully I can find another one for next year!

One of the things December had on her Christmas list was a magnadoodle, and she got two! This one is from Uncle Jeff, Auntie Erin, and Caden. The other one is from Grammie and Grandpa Jones. We'll keep one in the car for travelling and the other one at home. As you can see, she is VERY fond of the magnadoodle!

I love this look on her face -- she is looking at the two poodles that came for Christmas with Brad's Uncle Don and Aunt Trudy.

The poodles were really quite good with the kids! December absolutely LOVED the "oggie"s (=doggy).

Here she is feeding Tika, the black poodle, a doggie treat

Eating Christmas brunch...

Christmas was very full and very fun! As you can tell, we arrived safely. Thank you for your prayers! The drive was really loooong. We left around 5:00pm on Thursday and didn't stop until 11:45pm the following night. We hit our worst weather as we drove through the night -- the roads were completely white, and there was a snowstorm all around. We did stop for about an hour in a parking lot in the wee hours of the morning, to sleep for a few minutes and in the hopes that the storm would lighten. During much of Friday, the sun was shining, and though the roads were still white in many places, we also had clear roads, too! I got to drive through some beautiful mountainous country with the sun sparkling on the snow, and it was absolutely gorgeous! We arrived late at night, completely exhausted, but Dad and Debbie thankfully had nice warm beds waiting for us...though we had to wait to use them because December woke up and decided it was play time, not sleep time.

The day after we arrived, the extended family started to arrive, too, and the house became full and fun! We like it when everyone is here because there is always something to do and people to do it with. We played lots of games together and built puzzles and talked, etc. Christmas with a full house is tons of fun!
